Born in Miami Florida, singer-songwriter Janine Berenson has been performing for as long as she can remember. Her passion for music and dance has always been at the center of her life.

With her first professional release, Janine had success in the industry. Her first single “Strong”, co-written by her, topped the Billboard Hot Dance/Club chart and DJ Times Magazine National Club chart. Her next release will be in early 2015.

Janine likes to incorporate many styles of music in her songs and describes her sound as “pop with a twist”. She is influenced by her Cuban roots as her vibrant family are all involved in the arts and have encouraged her to follow her dreams. She moved from her Miami home and is now based in New York, working with writers and producers both there and across the country.

Recently Janine debuted her new live act in NYC, backed by her band of cutting edge professional musicians. She is now planning her first tour and booking dates through 2016.

Janine is the real package and is focusing her talents on songwriting, performing and recording. Working with a team of professionals in all areas, she is honing her trade and, with her strong work ethic, expect to hear a lot more about her in the future.
